2 Ball Dribbling Drills

On the Move

Slow Walk Pound Dribble

Pound dribbles:

Dribble the ball below your knee in each hand, while walking slowly forward and backwards.  Try to get as many dribbles as you can in 1 minute

Slow Walk Opposite Dribble

Opposite Dribble:

Dribble the basketball in each hand at opposite times while slowly walking forward and backwards

Slow Walk One High One Low

One High One Low::

Dribble one basketball below the knee while dribbling the other basketball at your shoulder height.  Continue to keep these dribbles going while you slowly walk forwards and backwards

Slow Walk Side to Side

Side to Side:

Dribble the basketball in each hand from side to side while walking slowly forwards and backwards

1 Hand Pass 1 Hand Dribble

1 Pass 1 Dribble:

Start by dribbling the basketball in each hand.  Then a partner will call for you to pass them a basketball.  Once this happens they will pass the ball back to you and you will continue to dribble that basketball and pass the opposite hand basketball to your partner and repeat.

Zig Zag dribbling with moves

Zig Zag with moves:

Set up cones that are diagonal back and forth from one another.  Start by dribbling at the closest cone, once you do this you will crossover the basketball closest to the next cone and put the other basketball through your legs simeltaneously.  Then head to the next cone and repeat

Straight line moves at cones

Straight line moves:

Have cones set up in a straight line a 2 steps apart.  Start by dribbling at the first cone and cross over the basketballs to opposite hands.  Then dribble to the next cone and repeat.

3 Move Combos 

High to Low Dribble:

Start by dribbling both basketballs.  Toss one to a partner then make your 3 move combos.  Once you do that pass the ball you just dribbled with to your partner and have them pass the extra basketball to you and repeat.

Crossover Build Up

Behind the Back Dribble:

Start by taking a dribble with a basketball in each hand, then cross each basketball over to the opposite hand.  Once finished the first round without messing up advance to round 2 were you make each dribble and crossover twice.  Continue adding a dribble after each round completed and see how many you can get without messing up
