2 Ball Dribbling Drills

Stationary 

2 Ball Pound Dribble

Pound dribbles:

​

Dribble the ball below your knee with each hand.  Try to get as many dribbles as you can in 30 seconds.

​

2 Ball Opposite Pound 

Opposite Pound Dribbles:

​

Dribble each basketball at opposite times as hard as you can.  Repeat this action and see how many you can do in 30 seconds.

​

2 Ball One High One Low

One High One Low Dribble:

​

Dribble one basketball as low as possible.  In the other hand try to dribble the basketball shoulder height and keep them going at the same time.  Do this for 30 seconds and then switch jobs of each hand and continue for 30 more seconds.

2 Ball Side to Side

Side to Side Dribble:

​

Dribble both basketballs on a bounce from side to side without having them bump each other.  Repeat this action and see how many you can do in 30 seconds.

2 Ball Front Back Dribble

Front Back Dribble:

​

In each hand dribble the basketball on a bounce from the front of your body to the back.  Try to keep the basketballs on the outside of your stance  Repeat this action and see how many you can do in 30 seconds.

2 Ball Front Back Side to Side

Front Back Side to Side:

​

Dribble the basketball on a bounce in each hand from side to side then backwards and forwards continuously.  Repeat this action and see how many you can do in 30 seconds.

2 Ball Dribble and Cross

Dribble and Crossover:

​

In each hand dribble the basketball, once that is done try to crossover each basketball to the opposite hand.  Repeat this action and see how many you can do in 30 seconds.

2 Ball Crossover Through the Legs

Crossover Through the Legs:

​

In one hand you will cross over the basketball to your opposite hand.  Simultaneously try to put the opposite basketball through your legs.  Repeat this action and see how many you can do in 30 seconds.

Toss Dribble Combo

Toss Dribble Combination

​

Have a basketball in each hand, then each hand will start pound dribbling.  You will bounce one basketball above your shoulder.  Once the ball is bounced you have to do a crossover with the other basketball and repeat this action.  See how many you can do in 30 seconds.

Have a basketball in each hand wrap a basketball around one leg while keeping the other ball dribbling then dribble to the opposite side.  Repeat this action and see how many you can do in 30 seconds.

2 Ball Crossover Build Up

Flip the Hips Dribble:

​

Start with a dribble in each hand then crossover the basketball once in round 1.  Once finished dribble the basketballs twice then crossover 2 times.  Repeat this action and see how high a number you can get to without losing control.

2 Ball Circle Dribbles

Circle Dribbles:

​

Set up a cone or another object in front of each foot.  then in each hand try to dribble around each cone or object at the same time.  Repeat this action and see how many you can do in 30 seconds.

Have a basketball in each hand the do an in and out dribble in each hand.  Repeat this action and see how many you can do in 30 seconds.
